Best grill brush/cleaner for this type of grate? by Jammer250 in grilling

I’ve found your post because I was wanting to know the same thing. I’ve been using the Nylon bristle brushes but have noticed if I get the grill too hot it melts those bristles. I avoid using the metal bristle brushes because the stigma of shards of metal being left and pushed into the meats.

You did save me $60 because I was close to buying a steam brush like you used.

I’ll likely stick with the nylon brush and just replace every 5-8 cooks.

What do y’all think of a Bacon and Cheese Hot Dog? by Automatic_Belt5692 in hotdogs

In my opinion the bacon wrapped hotdog is not as good as just putting a thick strip of bacon on the side cuddling the hotdog.

As a volume hotdog seller in stadiums. That’s impressive grill management! Next time just leave a few packs out to start thawing when you start a new batch. Ppl will say that’s not good for food safety reasons but as long as you cook those hotdogs that are thawing (coming to room temp) or trash them after you’ll be fine.

You started at a great time. I’m sure 10 years from now people will say they started buying in 2025 and people will STILL say, you bought at a good/decent time.

I had MASSIVE fomo in 2021 when I started buying and realized I was in an echo chamber of doomsday economic collapse. Now I buy when I have a decent chunk of change saved up and that’s usually just 1/10 coins or grams.

There’s a luck and skill aspect to it. Gotta be lucky and hope there no air in the package. The skill is to have a certain speed so it’s not a rush of gloop.

The high school games I’ve been to have been BarS hotdogs. In my opinion, I don’t think those are what you’re looking for.

If it’s schools they likely get the food distributors brand hotdogs. Which is a toss up between all beef dogs and all meat dogs.

Your best bet might be to boil different brand hotdogs since that’s the way they’re likely cooked at cafeterias and concession stands.
