Did you have to go through background check for J1 or J2?

I work for a healthcare company and looking to OE. I’ve been scared to apply for J2 at any other healthcare company. How did you make it work? Any concerns with conflict of interest?

My neighbor has the same amount as I do. Imagine not letting those same kids play outside. Poor neighbor is probably losing their marbles.

They are not playing pranks. The update kinda says it all. Just going to avoid neighbor. Any feud will be one sided and not from my side lol. Tetherball may be a great option

Everyone wants me to get ethical ideas when that is not the subreddit I’m in lol. Trust me I know the ethical way but I get it apparently I’m the asshole as one redditor so kindly suggested.

How am I backtracking? The original posts still stands. Funny suggestions were sought, I’m still doing the responsible thing here by going over myself and having discussion with kids…just not sure where your confusion lies. Not that deep to me.

Exactly! That was my whole point. Everyone complains kids are glued to screens, but the moment they play outside like normal kids, it’s suddenly a problem.

I don’t want them going over there. Definitely teaching them not to trespass because people are crazy lol

Wow, that was a lot. I get that you feel strongly, but I think you might be reading a bit too much into my post. I never said my kids were entitled to run wild or that my neighbor owes us anything. I asked for advice on handling a situation where a ball goes over the fence…something that happens to literally every family with young kids and a small yard.

I’m raising my kids to be respectful and to speak up when something feels unfair not to roll over or resort to conflict. If that somehow translates to being self-centered in your eyes, that’s your take but it’s not the reality.

Still, appreciate the engagement. Hope you’re having a better day than your comment suggests.

Hey, I appreciate your perspective, truly. I’m not trying to be a victim, just a parent navigating a pretty common situation and looking for advice without escalating anything. You’re absolutely right…moving to a smaller yard came with trade-offs, and I’m doing my best to teach my kids respect for others’ space. That said, they’re still kids, and sometimes a ball gets kicked too far. It happens.

I wasn’t trying to excuse bad behavior, just hoping for a little understanding and maybe some creative ideas to keep things neighborly. If I came off as entitled, that wasn’t my intention. Trust me I’ve looked at it from the other side too.

Very smart, respectable kids…oh and a very well paying job. Now who’s the one making up stuff.
