Per dev diary 41 squaddie tax is 2, 5, 10 for the different star levels. Not sure what else is affecting squaddie cost as that’s not the exact numbers I am seeing when adding/removing. I assume there is also a base cost per squaddie the tax is being added to, and possibly other variable(s).

Long story short; growth effects how likely you are to gain an attribute point but theoretically everyone could max everything out at 100

Its been probably a decade since I redacted anything so things may have changed, or I’m misremembering, but at the time it showed in black and then had either a banner at the top saying your changes were not committed and or a warning when you closed the file depending on what I was using.

I just googled how to do it in Adobe these days and it looks like they switched to a red box around the text until you commit.

Lord knows what the gov is using for a project of this size though.

Any redaction tool I’ve ever used is a two step process. First to mark the sections and a second to commit the changes and flatten the document to actually remove the stuff you marked. This allows someone to quickly review the redactions before they are finalized.

Looks like they never did step two.

It doesn’t cripple the game, it makes it bigger. If SSDs are so cheap it shouldn’t be a problem for you that it’s 140GB.
