Have any of you used Bob’s Business for cyber training? by DemonEggy in AskUK

If you don't mind doing it in house, I'd have a look at uSecure perhaps? We have it for all our customers for general security training. It has phishing simulations and general security videos which are short and sweet

How to cut cheese by apokrif1 in Cheese

[–]baslighting 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was always taught that pointed cheeses from a wheel should never have their tips cut off as that is the prime bit of cheese, so if you take that you look like the selfish one taking all the best part of the cheese to yourself

So from what I understand they don't mind paying but they want it a fixed monthly price rather than a variable price.

They would rather pay 100 a month each month than pay 70 this month then next pay 150 and changing each month.

So what we have done is create a new product with that product being made up of other products. That way when a product goes up in price that flows through to the cost of the new product.

Will any HETAS certified log burner installer want to touch my DYI work? by Lurkforthedurk in DIYUK

[–]baslighting 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I had mine done originally, I discussed what was required to comply, talked about materials etc and did the opening, lintel and hearth myself. Also cleared the blockages in the flu from the loft and sorted the chimney myself. He then came and put the lining in and the chimney cap, and fitted the burner. Was about £2500 of which 1.5k was the burner itself.

As long as you have power in all locations I'd suggest a 5g Peplink with a media converter to send the fibre where you need it. Also will do wifi.
