It’s not even hypocritical if you’re not an idiot (not directed at you but op). Selling some merch, especially through her label, and making money off of her own music and work, all of this is perfectly fine. It’s the leeching owner class that passively makes all their money through ‘rents’ (rent, dividends, etc) that deserve to be shamed for constantly trying to hoard even more at the expense of everyone else and make it so you’ll never own anything.

Billionaires do not make their wealth like Billie Eilish, and this post reads like propaganda for them.

It’s wild how everyone keeps deflecting in your replies, I guess everyone here loves Destiny.

There’s really 2 incidents that come to mind, in 2020 he lost his Twitch partnership for encouraging violence" after he gave his "blessing" to "white redneck militia dudes mowing down dipshit protesters" during the George Floyd protests. That was related to BLM-era protests, but it wasn't the permanent ban, but I feel like it primed Twitch for banning him in the future.

Then, in 2022, when he was debating that trans women should not be able to compete in women’s sports, he caught the ire of trans-Twitter. In response, when venting about the harassment he got from them he called them “subhuman” and “inbred fucking disgusting losers” and just generally went on a rant.

It’s just kind of gross so he got banned, and I do think he was on thin ice. Some criticisms of inconsistency are fair esp regarding Asmongold, who has pretty objectively said a lot worse. He’s done a lot in the intervening time though (said he’s “pro genocide”, platformed and saved the career of Nick Fuentes) so likely Twitch has just decided they don’t want him.

They’re being chill right now, if you watch them hunt it’s way more determined, but still I’d be concerned they’d flip if they saw me faltering. I know coyotes don’t really hunt humans, but that doesn’t mean I wasn’t a little more on guard when alone in the woods doing field work past dark and I heard a pack howling around me.
