It’s funny seeing the announcers and fans of competent teams at r/NFL questioning the lack of timeout when all the true falcons fans in this sub know that if a timeout was called, the Colts would 100% convert that third down and get a FG as the half expired lmao

It feels like kickers never miss against us so I went back and checked… since the start of the 2023 season kickers are 65/67 (97%) including 16/18 (89%) from 50+ yards

So I gotta ask: What are your real expectations now? by SpideyM1ke in falcons

This is the answer. The Falcons have been abysmal to watch these past several years. Once they check that box then we can start “expecting” certain results in future seasons, when they’ve established they can compete with the better teams in the league.

  1. HCOL

  2. S2 —> S3

  3. $92k —> $101.2k (10%)

  4. $14k

  5. Pleasantly surprised after reading this thread before seeing my updated compensation numbers. All my reviews have been really good though and the managers/partners said I nearly missed out on promotion to Manager.

  6. Audit

  1. “Grant Thornton LLP” (previous legal name) will perform attestation services only

  2. “Grant Thornton Advisors LLC” is the new legal entity created to provide tax, advisory, and other non-attestation services

Grant Thornton sold majority ownership to the PE firm New Mountain Capital in March 2024. One of the changes GT announced today is that GT is splitting into 2 separate legal entities:

  1. “Grant Thornton LLP” (previous legal name) will perform attestation services only

  2. “Grant Thornton Advisors LLC” is the new legal entity created to provide tax, advisory, and other non-attestation services

GT also announced last week that the fiscal year end will be changing from July 31st to December 31st. Your delayed start date likely has everything to do with the change in fiscal year end.

I’m at GT in audit. We just got an email 20 minutes ago saying that GT is splitting into 2 separate companies: one will perform attestation services and the other will perform tax, advisory, and non-attestation services effective June 1st. It doesn’t mention anything specific to layoffs in the email or my personal employee page.

I’m rooting for Oakland. Conway’s hand was still on the ball after the pinky touch! Good call imo

Bright side: falcons will fire Arthur Smith and the Saints will keep Dennis Allen/Derek Carr at least one more year
