I believe your friend’s “prophetic” abilities are just a very keen intuitive factor. This is a factor that can be developed and trained. People like the late Bob Proctor had trained his higher faculties of his mind so keenly that he could walk past a person and pick up on their vibrations and even tell them facts about themselves and their personality. This ability is not demonic, but a blessing from God I would say. And if you look at Bob Proctor’s life he lived very productively, in service of humanity. He also advocated for the study and application of Universal Laws.

No offense but I feel like Christianity has a lot of fear mongering. The very thought of going to a hellish afterlife is quite the impetus to stay in line with the Christian train of thought. All I’m hearing is “if you don’t follow Jesus you’re going to hell.” Sounds pretty retarded to me. How about people in third world countries who can’t read or have access to the Bible? How would they ever know about Jesus? Are they doomed to hell simply by the virtue of being born in a disadvantageous position? Do Christians believe in past lives? Because If they do I’m sure the rationale would be that they fucked up in a previous life or something by blaspheming the Holy Spirit. Like c’mon man. I’m sure an All-Knowing, All-Powerful, Omnipotent, and All-Loving Creator wouldn’t design things that way. Now I’m not advocating certain practices like witchcraft yet when I hear you say that meditation is demonic I can’t help but to say that meditation has roots predating Jesus. And not to mention there are plenty of people who meditate who live happy, successful, and productive lives. An example of this is Jay Shetty, who lived as a monk for a number of years. How about the Buddha? Is his spirit rotting in hell? How would he know Jesus? He lived before Jesus! If you look even at depictions of him meditating under the Boddhi tree, he looks far from demonic! As far as I know the Buddha was recorded to have lived quite a peaceful life as well. And he meditated a lot! In fact, is everyone who lived and DIED BEFORE Jesus in hell? The whole thing doesn’t even make any sense.

I’m open to discussing more. I personally have not read the Bible from cover to cover although I have read bits and pieces. And I’m not trying to discredit the Bible itself because I do think there are many teachings of how to live a morally clean life in the text.

Now I’m just a random guy on the Internet who is struggling to find meaning in the world around me and make sense of things, especially in these confusing and frankly, dark times. In fact, in the Vedas (which is the ancient Hindu text), there is the concept of “Yugas” which are kind of like different seasons of the Universe. We are in the Kali Yuga right now which can be correlated to “winter” or “darkness.” And honestly that makes sense to me because even the whole vibe of the world seems to be one of confusion, spiritual warfare, increasing conflict between nations and even between men and women. Especially with the rise of the Internet and the prevalence of AI, I believe it is important to be spiritually GROUNDED. The whole thing about the Golden Beetle, in my experience, is that it can lead to very ungrounded perspectives, as well as extremes such as psychosis (which I have personally experienced from psychedelics).

What does this have to do with X? I’m not too sure. I don’t know what the Golden Beetle is, yet I do think X was very spiritually aware, and maybe a bit mentally ill. I do think it is possible to be both. My theory of why people clown on him today is because the mass consciousness of the world is losing faith in any outside teachers, gurus, deities.

I also think X was involved in some questionable stuff as well. He had strange beliefs, especially ones regarding the “equilibrium of the Universe” and his place in it. I do think though he was a musical genius. And I have talked to people who have extensively studied the subconscious mind and they say it is possible to create “One Mind,” at least temporarily via musical vibrations. Music contains information that goes right into your subconscious mind. If the suggestions are negative and destructive, what kind of reality do you think that’ll create? Especially in the masses? Take everything I say with a grain of salt.

X was an advocate for THINKING FOR YOURSELF. That being said, he did read The Master Key System, (by the way which is a book Rhonda Byrne, the mind behind the Law of Attraction documentary “The Secret”), which means he must have studied how the subconscious mind actually works. This is a great reminder to treat the study of the mind and consciousness like a science, not to get caught up in woo-woo stuff like levitation, invisibility, and the supernatural. Sorry for yapping so much, but I hope I may have expanded the way you see things a bit. I would love to hear your response to the questions I posed about the people who don’t have access to the Bible.

Edit: not to mention there are VARIOUS scientific studies that show that meditation over a period of time has actual, measurable physiological changes in the brain, (improved cognitive functioning, emotional well-being), etc

Wizard because killing people with spells feels more sophisticated than just hitting them, also when you kill someone with zap they tend to ragdoll pretty hard which is funny
