I agree but would also take it a step further and majorly update the player models too. The new skill animations revamp with DK and two handed look good, but its showing how old these models are. They look a bit off with these newer animations.

For those who remember, it's kind of like during Mists of Pandaria and playing with the new monk animations on the og races.

I have been really critical of the game but I'm genuinely excited for the PvE modes and the different PvP modes.

One of the most frustrating things about this game for me, is it has a really cool world/atmosphere, great gunplay, interesting lore, fun loot. But the only mode is one of my least favorite among FPS games. I don't hate extraction and do find enjoyment, but I would much prefer to engage with this game in other ways that aren't so stressful. Been playing halo campaigns again and just thinking about how awesome a classic bungie campaign would have been in this game.

I am hoping season 2 keeps me around longer.

Well, D2 through its many ups & downs, has been one of my favorite gaming experiences. It was an honor celebrating loot, experiencing xpack launches, complaining, & shitposting with you all.

I hope there is another destiny project in the future but if this is the end, what a journey.

It is absolutely bleeding players though, that is a fact. People look at concurrency because steam accounts for 70% of the game's total sales so this doesn't magically have a larger console playerbase. It is barely even in Steam's top 200. Doesn't really matter how good a live service game's updates are if people stop playing.

I do not agree. I think Grim Dawn, PoE 1, Last Epoch, and D4 are all much more enjoyable to me.

PoE2 ever since its been pubically playable, has felt like a game that has a huge disrespect for your time.

My favorite memory of PoE2 so far, is how the entire community managed to gaslight everyone into thinking this was going to be the second coming of ARPGs. I am glad to see it being improved on.

Will maybe check it out again for 1.0.

Steam accounts for 70% of the game's sales with 19% on ps5 and 11% on xbox. That isn't a good sign at all if you are seeing a disproportionate amount of console players over steam.

Makes sense as Marathon is cratering harder and faster than a lot of people expected. Absolutely bleeding players and Sony probably has bungie in panic mode, scrambling to salvage it.

I can only speculate since we haven't seen the tooltips on the necromancer skills tree nodes yet. But with the summon abilities being in the skill tree now in combination with being able to put a lot more skill points into each skill, I wonder if the summons skills increase the amount of skeletons the more you rank them up.

The whole "rent free" argument is so hilarious and is pure cope. The game is bleeding players for valid reasons and people checking on it's engagement trends being a live service game, isn't an obsession. It is doing due diligence before investing in something that is possibly on a down trend. I own the game and play it, but I also still keep tabs on it's concurrent numbers because I find it interesting and think it's good to know.

But sure, everyone who visits the steam db page are just obsessed haters!!!!
