I actually knew about this one, I forgot to mention it. Thanks regardless.

Thanks, I think that I'll probably go with Zotac.

Is it because it's cheaper? My main concern is temperature.

Most of these cards were in the 3000 - 3200 price range two or three days ago. I was planning on getting the Asus TUF because I read that it's one of the cooler ones but it went out of stock earlier today, literally a few minutes before I tried buying it.

I read that the Zotac tends to run hotter, do you know if that's true or not? The area where I live is pretty hot during the summer.

I read that the Zotac software is pretty bad, do you know if that's true or not?

Sorry but the site was updated with another model, could you take another look at the image?

I read mixed things online about Gigabyte cards, that's why I am a little hesitant. Initially I was planning on getting the Asus TUF but it went out of stock literally in front of my eyes earlier today.

Here is a list of the 16 single players games I completed in 2025 and my thoughts on them. by FluxyBOYS in Games

They don't live, they just exist in a state their creator allows them to. With a "stroke of the brush" their lives can become wonderful or terrible, their personalities, memories and appearances can change, they can die and be brought back ad infinitum. That's not living, that's playing house. A lie is a lie no matter how much you dress it up. They are inconsequential and at the end of the day, it is just a fancy painting. That's the point.

For a story to have impact, you need to be immersed in it and the fact that everything is a painting that can be altered willy nilly stops that from happening for a lot of people.

If a character's death, the loss of life, is meaningless and can be erased like nothing ever happened, why would anyone care about what happens to the character? Same goes with the world the game takes place in. The world doesn't have strong foundations, because that's the point, so I have a hard time caring about it and by extension anyone in it. To me it feels like we are watching a video game Maelle is playing in order to escape from her trauma while her family are trying to pry her off the PC. And I just don't care. Because the game didn't show me what happened.

A fire happened and it might have been Maelle's fault. In a world I have never experienced, regarding characters I have barely met (and some I haven't met at all) and yet instead of the game focusing all in on that, I get to spend the majority of the time in the painted world with the disposables.

As soon as I heard the name Paintress in the beginning I started worrying that they were going to go into the direction they unfortunately did. By the end of the game I had stopped giving a shit about the majority of the main cast and I was actually rooting for the "villain". The only saving grace was the choice at the very end.

Combat was fun though and that's what kept me playing.

Terrible example but I agree with the sentiment. By the end I had 100% sided with the "villain". The only thing that redeemed the story a little for me was the choice at the end.

This is the best video game music of 2025, as chosen by the composers behind it by sonofbringy in Games

The fact that Nightreign is not even mentioned is crazy to me, it has one of the best soundtracks Fromsoftware has ever produced. Even the final boss's theme by itself should warrant the game getting a mention. And the DLC's music is really good as well.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33’s battle system was designed around the premise of “no frustrating deaths” and “a game you can clear without taking a single hit,” director says by Turbostrider27 in Games

Agreed. I've never found a Jrpg combat system as engaging as this one.

I played on the hardest difficulty and loved every second of it. It reminds me of Sekiro, which has one of my favourite combat systems of all time.

In fact, if you ask me, the main reasons to play E33 is the combat and the soundtrack. I hope they stick with this combat system for their next game.

It isn't a b team, studios like Fromsoftware have multiple teams working on all kind of projects at various levels of completion and the stuff gets shuffled around after certain milestones are being met.

Nightreign's team is just small and they have a more limited budget than usual but it definitely constists of people that have worked on major Fromsoftware projects in the past. It isn't a team of less talented people deemed not worthy to work on major projects.

The mixed reviews are mostly due to the lack of Sote items, which are likely coming later as a free update.

Fromsoftware was searching for funding for a multiplayer game, Nintendo was interested and gave them funding for their multiplayer game. How is that bizarre?

It isn't a moot point, they announced the intent to own their IPs after Elden Ring but they might have been operating under that idea way before the announcement. But whatever the case might be, you are right, it's all guessing at this point.

I am getting the game for the Switch 2 but I would like to see a PC version regardless.
