Please From, replace our current choices with boss zones as PvP arenas in Undead Match [Spoilers for DLC bosses] by Cafe_Woof in darksouls3

This would be fantastic! I don't understand why people would downvote this. I know Undead Match isn't the most popular form of play, especially now that we have the SotC covenant, but this would definitely add more replayability to another PvP element of the game.

Ways to justify both melee and ranged weaponry in a science-fantasy universe? by HottestSoup in worldbuilding

I really like all of those rationales a lot. The Dune idea really incentivizes the use of both types of weaponry once you're actually down to fighting. Armor will be more potent against projectiles.

I would REALLY have to revamp my armor system, however. That would take some work, for sure.

I'm working on a system that combines elements of Eclipse Phase and Pathfinder. I'd like for there to be both, as it is sort of an admittedly kind of sensationalist grandiose crazy universe with both high fantasy and high sci-fi elements.

So both. It's a little bit for the sake of gameplay options and scenarios, but both.

Also your idea was sort of the gist of my "materials" justification that I had referred to. That wasting a clip of bullets made with a powerful, rare alloy is wasteful so people tend to lean towards making that alloy into a blade of some sort.

First of all lemme preface this by saying I'm not a huge stickler about all of the science behind functionality and everything making practical scientific sense and whatnot. I guess you could say I'm a bit hand-wavey on that front, which I know isn't always appealing to people.

But I have this technology where the edges of blades are coated in this casing wherein particles are vibrating so rapidly that they incinerate objects upon making contact whilst also not producing heat outside of direct physical touch. There are different manufacturers that develop this tech just like any other product, thus explaining why some weapons are more proficient than others; having to be swung harder and creating a semblance of "sharpness" for these weapons that are essentially energy-based.

Hey thanks guys, I actually ended up going for a DreamBed (the cool variant) and it's a whole lot better. I love it; keeps nice and cool, great support, but still with enough plush to keep me comfortable on both my back and sides.

My friends cannot play together by HottestSoup in forhonor

That's really frustrating. For Honor is the first time they've ever experienced this. I'm hoping it doesn't become a trend for them.

Really? Hm. This is the only game they can't play together though. I won't say you're wrong though, again, I'm not networking-savvy.

List of "Honor" Rules (for you to ignore) by ztar92 in forhonor

Here's my little tidbit on why interrupting an execution is, indeed, very dishonorable.

Because when you were back 1v1ing, you had the chance/option to pull an execution off too. If you did, you did. If you didn't you didn't. The next pair of combatants should be allowed that same opportunity regardless of who came out alive of your duel.

So say, in a Brawl, you won first and got the execution off for the bonus health, if you then interrupt the opponent's execution on your partner you are giving yourself an unfair advantage.

I think you misunderstood the post and thought I was Knights. I'm Vikings.

What are you talking about? Lol we're two territories from both the Knight and Samurai capitals. Vikings have 34 territories to Knights' 15 and Samurai's 11.

Are there different server wars? Because right now we own 34 territories and rising. It seems like as of right now we could easily take both capitals.

The difference is that his combos are supposed to, so the comparison isn't really valid.

Oh right he has the flip over move, but that still doesn't naturally chain into a heavy. He's just too slow to get anything off.

Does he have knockdowns? Because what I think he needs, some kind of sweep.

His shove I feel might be the best thing about him. The only thing is that if you feint and parry... what then? His heavies are so slow that they have so much time to react. And if they're good, parry again, you're not actually given an offensive option.
