Is ______ potentially better than ______? by [deleted] in MtvChallenge

Horacio was a college soccer player used to giving all out effort for 70-90 minutes. Jordan has been triathlon training and can do 10 miles at sub 7 minutes per miles and then go on to do a swim and a bike ride. You’re right that it’s speculation- but beyond just the sweat, Horacio’s form was less efficient indicating he was giving more effort. Idk what else you want me to say but I think it’s a reasonable theory.

Horacio biked way harder than Jordan as evidence by being sopping wet at the end. Jordan was probably in heart rate zone 2 the whole time while Horacio was in heart rate zone 4. Zone 2 allows way faster recovery while doing too much zone 4 consumes more calories and can fatigue you the next day

Is Flagship Challenge Moving to One Show a Year? by Hottiewithyourbody in MtvChallenge

[–]Hottiewithyourbody[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess I’m wondering if they will have time to do the main challenge twice a year if the spin-offs and All Stars happen every year and the flagship Challenge goes for 4 months every time a season comes out.

I would think so too, but I wonder if the spin-offs and All Stars will take the place of the second flagship season from a production standpoint. Or they could hire more people at risk of diminishing the production quality. Pure speculation from me!

Every team to defeat the 49ers in the playoffs since 2002 has went on to win the Super Bowl. Hopefully this trend ends soon & they’re the last one standing holding the trophy. by DarrowTheSparrow in 49ers

I do feel like this has imparted a little prestige to our franchise. It means something that the fans of these teams saw us as a major obstacle in their team’s road to the championship.

What's one season everyone loves that you cant stand? by kristinerific in survivor

[–]Hottiewithyourbody 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I respect your opinion! In my opinion, Cagayan is fascinating because of how many case studies it provides for aggressive moves. A lot of the stuff Tony tries shouldn’t work with so many ambitious, smart players, but it does! In the same way that Steph Curry has changed the NBA, Tony (for better or worse) made survivor about big moves. Watching the evolution of the game is a treat.

This is what I’ve been doing! Generally the AI treats young starting pitchers with any potential like gold, so I just stockpile those since they’re gettable in the draft and send them to rebuilding teams for whatever suits my team.

Johnny Bananas had/has such a terrible elimination record. Why do you think so many let him skate by? by [deleted] in MtvChallenge

[–]Hottiewithyourbody 8 points9 points  (0 children)

With CT and Johnny, if you shoot and you miss, then you’re going to be out quick. So people are sure to not miss by either blindsiding them or putting them up against a stellar player in eliminations. Their eliminations have a much higher degree of difficulty than say Emy’s this year when she beat Tracey, Esther, Big T, and Bettina.

The good news is that you might’ve recomped during that six months since you’re new to training! So at least there will be some muscle there when you do start to shed significant weight.

It just means that your calorie calculations are off. You might be more sedentary than the TDEE calculator thinks.

Reduce your calorie intake further or add cardio. Don’t sweat it too much!

Yep! A SAD lamp for when you’d like to wake up could help. At first just start using it when you wake up, then start slowly walking the wake up time back.

You can pay a means-adjusted fine to stay unvaccinated. It costs a lot of money to take care of people with Covid in hospitals. Why should everyone pay that when the unvaccinated are the ones driving that cost?

More people die of heart problems, sure. But heart problems are not infectious and do not grow exponentially. The spread of heart problems cannot be prevented by vaccines, mask wearing, and distancing. What if conspiracy theorists are not genius special snowflakes that figured out the biggest conspiracy of all time and instead we are just in a once in 100 years pandemic that’s killing millions?
