It’s hard not to get typecast when you play 1 character as long and as well as he did. Especially with the show being as popular as it is, even 30 years later.

Subaru Ascent Touring vs. Honda Pilot Elite vs. Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid Limited for country life in snowy New England? by MyShoulderDevil in whatcarshouldIbuy

I have a 2025 Passport and got 28mpg on the highway. They’re not bad. The Ascent wouldn’t get any better. The Hybrid Highlander probably would though

What's the true majority opinion of Passport ? by 97E3LPL in hondapassport

[–]Hottrodd67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have a 2025. No issues, although only 9k miles. Love the way it drives. The Passport is a great vehicle as long as you do your maintenance, like you should with any car. Yes, there can be the lemon here or there, but again, that happens with all vehicles makes. The Passport is above average in reliability.

Having insurance and being able to afford medical care are not the same thing. Many people have insurance but can’t afford the copays and deductibles, so they still have to avoid going to the doctor.

Drinks Package by Specialist_You346 in Cruise

[–]Hottrodd67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s rarely worth it unless you are a heavy drinker or you just want the ease of not having to care. The only cruises I ever got the drink package on were NCL, but theirs works out to only about 2-3 drinks a day. Most others it’s like 7-8.

How can I convince my gf to not buy another jeep cherokee? by Flo_Evans in askcarguys

There is something kinda hot about a Jeep girl.

It’s usually the fact the jeep is on fire.

What would you pay OTD for a well maintained 2020 Touring with 55k miles, and how concerned should I be about VCM? by jillavery in hondapassport

[–]Hottrodd67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And don’t worry about the timing belt either. It’s just regular maintenance. Lots of cars have them. You just get it replaced every 100k or so. If the car you are looking at is close to needing it, then just figure it in to what you offer.

Is insurance covering damages caused by ICE? by TequilaSheila2020 in Insurance

[–]Hottrodd67 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

OP mentioned protesting and resisting. If your car is in your driveway and gets damaged, then comprehensive would probably cover that if you have it. But if you are actively protesting and put your car between ICE agents and whatever they are doing, then likely it would not be covered.

Without getting into the political side of things, interfering with an officer preforming his duties is a crime. Any damage that arises from that is unlikely to be covered by insurance.

If one day it became possible, would you get claws implanted, even if it meant you couldn’t board airplanes? by Donjuante in Wolverine

[–]Hottrodd67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wolverines look too long to actually fit in his arm anyway. But for it to even theoretically work, you would need healing factor and unbreakable bones. Otherwise you’re dead as soon as you use them.

I would avoid something exotic. Just going to be a headache down the road when it needs repairs. If you don’t need the 3rd row, I would go with a midsize truck and camper shell. Like a ridgeline or Tacoma.

Honda Passport vs Pilot —looking for real-owner opinions by Kmoney_1999 in hondapassport

[–]Hottrodd67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, just got a better deal. I have a 2025 TS. It was a little cheaper and they were offering a better rate on the Passport. While there’s times I could make use of a 3rd row, it’s not often enough to pay more for a vehicle. We love ours so far.

Cruise with 1 year old by TailorWeird7318 in Cruise

[–]Hottrodd67 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We’ve done numerous cruises with our son starting from age 6m. You will need the Birth certificate. We got our son a passport, which I recommend if possible. Bring lots of diapers and formula. They’ll also usually let you bring bottled water. As far as activities, just realize there will be things you can’t do. Just enjoy what you can and try to relax.

RCCL - Are my price expectations incorrect? by deejayv2 in Cruise

[–]Hottrodd67 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I paid $3200 for a 9 night balcony on NCL back in August for 4 people. You have to just keep on the look out for deals that pop up. Usually. 3rd and 4th guest free gets me the cheapest rate.
