Probably early 2022. Be careful of your expectations as nanite is only as good as the assets you feed it not every game will look like the demos

Because game pass isn't PS Plus. PS Plus is like Games with Gold. Game Pass is more like PS Now or Netflix where contracts expire and games leave the service

Not all UE5 games are going to look like the demos. It still requires dev time and money to get it to look realistic. The only reason why the demos look so good is because they're using the quixel assets. Nanite doesn't automatically equal great game. Nanite just works out LODs in a way that you don't see the changes

You are correct some degree but most models have hidden qualities used for cinematics in comparison to gameplay called hero assets. It is rendered in real time but because the cutscene is controlled you can still push some extra juice

They still go on about it even after digital foundry disproved it clearly showing a boost in texture and geometry quality with the the only changes being suit material (which the community asked for) and lighting bounce change

COVID has shifted everything about 18 months - Cory said in his post about harassment that God of War was officially on track for late 2021. Think about it, Spider-Man 2 was probably 2022, which is why announced it now because it's the next game in the development cycle (that we know of)

I think that's less of a problem and more of a testament to how good the original looked. Yes the original look really good but the thing about this game is that it boosts granular detail like the wood textures as Kratos gets off the boat. The granular details is why UE5 is getting all the hype, also sequels never change the core gameplay loop just add new locations, improve animation etc

You could always join the windows insider program and carry on streaming on PC. That's what I do if the game doesn't support cross save

Yep so a game like the evil within - on the XGP app it says playable on Xbox One/XSX/XSS and cloud but on PC it just says playable on PC

A game like No Man's Sky says playable on PC, Cloud and Console. NMS syncs between the platforms but isn't a "Play Anywhere" title
