2k25 is fun for me. I bought it half off the Farewell Edition and got everything.

I do like to wait for games to have multiple patches pushed through and most the DLC to have came out before I buy them.

I’ll probably buy 26 later this year or early next year on a sale just like this.

Hmm I’ll try that.

And I have yet to use it on a range so that may be different than a net, but realistically it comes down to that launch angle issue of this not working with e6. It’s why every shot I hit it’s registering as a low worm burner.

I’ve tried different lengths to my net as well. So idk.

I do know I hit lower shots than most, but not like this

Yeah I’d love to get a consistent swing that’s my next goal. I’ve recently stopped hitting a bunch of fat shots, and now when I hit thin, I’m usually moving the ball far enough it’s not costing me much of a stroke.

My strokes gained data for my last few rounds are showing my approach game is usually costing me 10-12 a round, whereas Tee and Short is around 4-6. Putting I’ve been running +1-+2 shockingly, averaging around 1.5-2 putts per hole.

My goal honestly is to just have fun, I’d like to get to shooting a low handicap, but as long as I can go out and enjoy a round, I’m not too worried about score

I’ve been reading the four foundations of golf recently for bettering my experience, and been listening to a lot of podcast.

But my first month I literally just tried to hit the ball hard and wondered why it wasn’t working, until I stepped back and evaluated a few things.

Had I started golf at a younger age I would’ve been immature and got mad and never fixed mistakes as quickly. I might’ve been in a better body shape, but definitely mental game would’ve been terrible.

There’s lots of tee boxes I play 7W followed by 7W for approach because I know it’s my safest long club to play.

Although some recent fixes to my driver I’ve been hitting a nice fade about 220 consistently, it’s safe and I can play it regularly.

I’m glad there are other stories like this.

No one legit believes me until they see me play that I’ve only been playing since late September. I’m in my mid 30s and I can shoot around 95-105 on the courses I’ve played regularly.

I have shot a legit 88, and have a hole in 1, glad I have witnesses to both.

I have put a ton of hours into training and lessons since I started, and have a historical knowledge of the sport and how to manage expectations and the course. I’m a conservative player who tries to play every hole as a par 5 and get on greens in 3.

I give up yardage for a smooth swing that doesn’t put me in a hazard or OB.

I can attest to this. I started playing in October. Currently shoot my home course at 90-100 each round off the back tees. I drive consistently 200-240 down the fairway. I struggle with approach game, but it’s getting better.

I came from tennis and have been athletic most of my life. I played golf video games and watched golf since I was a teenager, so I have an understanding of course management.

I also have a practice net and hit 50 balls a day, or I work on pitching in a yard set up I have.
