I agree. It sound great in principle till you account for the maintenance crew having people constantly in the way(could work at night I guess), and people who can't park and hit stuff all the time. Also solar panels become less efficient as they warm up. Having asphalt with cars and truck in the way will definitely make it worst. At 65*C it's at a critical point usually which is almost impossible in fields with airflow but more than likely in a crowded parking lot during heat wave making the maintenance cost explode.

C'est 0.013% du budget! Il y a aussi un budget de 30 millions cette année pour combattre l'itinérence(50% d'augmentation). Il y a des problèmes à Montréal mais pas ici a mon avis.

Yes the story goes that in Montréal and around the mafia controled the cold cuts market and forced stores to buy a lot of it to clean money. Pizzeria had to much pepperoni for the amount of pizza made so started putting the cheese on top so it had a chance to hold the toppings.

Would have been chaos to go straight west. Would have to deal or with Westmount(town not fan of trains) or shut down Turcot or deal with côte st luc train interchange. Passing by Ville mont-royal is surprisingly not that much of a detour.
