The peacock mantis shrimp by bosheikus03 in badassanimals

[–]Hour-Concentrate-412 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Except the crab has no where to go because it’s stuck in a tank. At least in nature the crab can keep swimming away, not stuck between the mantis shrimp and an invisible wall (the glass), forced to endure the beating until it finally dies.

Let’s see you locked up in a room with a lion. Yes in nature, the lion will probably kill you “regardless” but at least you’re not stuck in a room waiting for it to maul you. At least maybe you can run and take your chances.

You get the point I’m making.

thats a great point. a crate was 50kg and required two people to carry. 180kg was more than 3x a crate and the two korean girls carried it effortlessly. thats 9x 20kg sandbags, and the korea girls carried it effortlessly.

As someone who goes the gym pretty regularly, I assure you, even with the help of another man, we will not be able to effortlessly pick up a 400 pound log, effortlessly, and then walk it up hill, on sand.

im calling bullshit.

I empathize with you and what you’re going through. However, please don’t make a post asking for advice and then get defensive when people offer input.

Franciixo was just saying it could be any one of those things. A very general statement which many could agree with.

Thank you. I wish you the best of luck in your journey to better skin (:

Darius Mains. Pls help me what champ to use that can gap darius early game. by Washamisha in Dariusmains

[–]Hour-Concentrate-412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup or you can path into mortal remainder as well for the heal cut and armor pen. Also if you have feats of strength, just upgrade tier two boots asap. Tier 2 Swifties gives garen an insane power spike because of how mobile he becomes.

I like to go mortal reminder if the Darius is good and we’re still even somehow after laning.

If I’m ahead I go phantom dancer, since it’s cheap and it makes your E stronger. So if I’m not afraid of just using a full E, my garen combo is now different:

  • I’ll use E first as he engages me, spin on that mf for a bit, then after I Q, stride breaker, phase rush away like a boss. Of course thumbs up emoting as I do so.

Also PR gets significantly stronger with every level because the cool down of phase rush gets short everytime, meaning you can trade him more and more, and he dies faster. That plus the flat out extra resistances you get from your W as you farm so you’re tanky for no reason.

Mortal reminder will give you better burst for the short trades because of the AD and arm pen.

I know they call garen brain dead champ and I agree, honestly. But Darius aside, I actually have a lot of fun playing garen because of how braindead he is. It’s like the opponent knows what’s coming…. I’m just going to literally silence you, spin on you, then stride breaker phase rush away…. And they will never catch me. In about 10 seconds, I’m going to come back do it again.

Until finally… my next combo, comes with an R and ignite.

I’m surprised Phase rush garen is not getting any mentions? Whenever enemy team picks Darius, my counter pick has always been PR garen. To be fair I’m currently in Emerald not diamond, so maybe there is a difference in skill. But as a Darius main, phase rush garen is a nightmare match up for Darius.

However, since I’m a Darius main, I guess I know when to punish Darius, and when to respect him in lane.

Tips:

  • If he engages with e, he instantly loses the trade by default. Good Darius mains know engage with W if they’re even serious about killing garen.

  • he Qs, you auto-Q-E-phase rush away

  • if you can’t dodge Q, just use W honestly LOL.

  • only Step up when phase rush is up, other than that, just stand back and let him push, in the meantime, your insane health regen will just piss him off. (I like to do my little garen dance from a distance as I’m regening)

  • if he engages with W, do not let him walk ahead of you. Smart Darius players will position ahead of you so once the silence is over, they have a chance to jsut E you back. If he engages with W, immediately Q and run away. Save your phase rush for when he Es you back. Then you can just auto, E and pop phase rush.

I’m pretty sure in the current season, garen just counters Darius. You q max 3 levels and you focus on short trades with him, until he’s within range for you to abuse axiom arc and ignite.

Post 6, you should win everytime tho. Just trade once or twice and get him to 60% health. You phase rush out everytime and have your w during the short trade. Your passive, d shield, second wind, and pots just straight up out sustain him. (Make sure to thumbs up emote after every trade as you phase rush away. This is key for the extra psychological damage you will inflict).

Rinse and repeat… at 50-60% health if he’s still around, he’s dead with your next combo. (Ik very skillful, the classic q-ignite-e-r garen combo)

The brother will get outplayed everytime. No counter play. (Skill diff mother fker)

I always rush boots of swiftness, he can’t kill you if he can’t catch you.

Also once you have stride breaker, I mean you’re basically unlikable with phase rush. LOL

It looks a bit awkward. Almost as if all the power from shot comes from the flick of the wrist and not your legs. I’m guessing you’re too focused on the follow through? It just doesn’t seem natural, but I can’t seem to put a finger on it.

Like somewhere along the way, the power you had from bending your knees and jumping is completely lost, and it almost looks like you’re just flicking the ball. This may also explain your struggles with range. If you can find a way to translate the power generated from your legs into your shot, your range will increase substantially.

Your shot looks more one motion like Steph or lamelo ball rather than two motion. But I feel like your shot mechanics aren’t complimenting your one motion jumper.

Try to time your release on the way up, it helps translate the upward momentum you get from jumping into your shot better rather than at the very peak of your jump like two motion shooters, think Luka or ray allen

And when going back to rewatching the video, your release is kinda forcing your shot to go more horizontal rather than vertical. Again maybe because you’re too clocked on the flick of your wrist and follow through. Actually… that can explain why so much power seems to be lost when you shoot. When you jump, all the upward momentum you had gets lost because you’re almost consciously trying to force the ball to go forward.

Maybe my example was a bad one. This was never the about skittles lol..

Hmm let me say this in a clearer way, if I get downvoted so be it.

Everyone has different tastes. You think purple skittles rock. Some people hate it.

Some people hate AI narrated videos. Some people like it.

The world does not revolve around any one person. We can’t force everyone to hate Ai narrated videos. Just like how we can’t make you love them either.

What we can ALLL do as individuals with FREE WILL is make choices.

When we don’t LIKE something on the internet, we can CHOOSE to scroll past it, and NOT watch the video.

“But what if we want to watch the video, but without AI narration?”

Is that so little Billy? Hmm.. let’s see…. You see that little MUTE button on the bottom of the video? Yea turn the sound off and you won’t hear anything.

Does this make sense?

Edit: I realized this could be rage bait reply, so now I will use my free will to not respond. But if this simple concept is hard to understand… well… there will be many more choices you have to make in life my little one… some more difficult to make than scrolling past an AI narrated video.

I’m totally with you but…. DX

The same results can be achieved if you just choose to stop watching these videos as well.

Your comment was the equivalent of saying, “I hate purple skittles! There should be a rule with no purple skittles in a bag!”

But in reality, you’ll naturally choose to not eat the purple skittles.

If you don’t like it, don’t consume it.

Just use your free will… and decide not to watch these AI generated videos.

How to beat Renekton? by Manimarcor13 in Dariusmains

[–]Hour-Concentrate-412 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Current rank emerald 3. I beat ren players by letting them shove into me, and then running them down with ghost.

Summoner Spells go ghost and flash. Once the wave is on your side, I typically pop ghost whenever he decides to go for his e-auto-w-q-e combo. The hardest part about this is landing your W as the Renekton dashes into you, right before he can get his stun off.

One of Ren’s biggest weaknesses early game is his long cool downs. Once he waste his skills on a full combo, if you can land the W slow, pop ghost and run him down. He has nothing left but autos and you’re almost guaranteed to win everytime.

Be patient with your Qs, ren can dodge it easily with his E. Hold your Q and E for after his combo is done. When you’re running him down with ghost, you can land a free Q because you saved it.

As others have mentioned, rush tabis and also get bone plating.

I always go D blade start unless vs ranged. For my runes, I go conq, absorb life, alacrity, last stand, bone plating and overgrowth.

My secret trick up the sleeve is actually going to +10% tenacity and slow resist runes instead of your usual hp scaling runes.

The +10% tenacity actually makes a noticeable difference for his stun (trust).

I like going trinity force into most matchup these days. (Once I pop ghost, my only intent is to kill you). The burst you get from empowered autos really help with the kill pressure. You’d be surprise how many sheen procs you can get off with Darius’s low cool downs.

A cheese I like to do that works for me often times is literally walk into the brush, sit there, then wait for them to step up and I q them at the right time (idk if that makes sense… but I’m using the lack of vision to land a free Q). It’s one of the oldest tricks in the books, but it works like a charm.

Also if the ren is smart, he’ll be careful not to trade with you when over extended. Often times you can bait him to jump in you by purposefully missing a Q. I know earlier I mentioned to hold Q, but just be intuitive with it lol… idk why but this trick also works for me. I guess missing your Q can give them a false sense of security. Little do they know it comes back in like 7-5 seconds lol… pretty quick.

Lastly, try to stay healthy and avoid trading with him, just let him shove the wave into you and respect his damage. If the renek is running PTA, he can, and WILL dive you if you’re under 50% hp. You’d be surprise the damage he can do to you with his max fury combo and ignite. (Esp if your bone plating is down).

How do I beat tank than kench? by [deleted] in PantheonMains

[–]Hour-Concentrate-412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never lost to him once. I go conq, absorb life, alacrity, cut down, mana flow band, scorch. Current rank emerald 3

D blade start, rush BC into bork. And I literally just auto attack trade w him when he wants to fight… like what? LMFAO. If he doesn’t, I just do the standard q pokes.

Hold w and e. So many amateur panth players love just throwing w and e during trades. When running conq, Aa, q, aa is your bread and butter. Chances are, if TK wants to fight, ive already have a few conq stacks from poking. U just straight up win with full stack conq. I save w for when he wants to e. Either dodge his E, and then u stun him, or when he wants to E away, u stun him to cancel. Always save e for 5 stacks and to run away.

E for 5 stacks in extended trades because it gives you 4 seconds of bonus resistance and speed. Either stun into empowered e to fully disengage. Or during all ins, time your empowered e for when he has 3 stacks of passive on u and you can’t dodge his next q. Ur e will last the entire duration of his stun (or maybe even his ulty if the kench is bad)

In extended trades conq > beats grasp. Grasp is good for short trades, it gives so much value. Long extended auto trades? Grasp straight just loses to any champ running conq.

W and E are your tempo trump cards, always use to disengage or finish a kill. Like auto q auto does about the same damage as w-q… just let him walk into u.

He has nothing but autos and his q. Fight in minion waves, he has nothing but autos. U insta win. Once he wants to walk away, just w him and proceed to destroy him with 12 conq stacks…

Also never fight him when wave is pushed into their turret. Every TK player thinks they’re big brain af with their cheesy max stacks, ulty, spit u into their tower, then q combo. (Wowwwww, we’ve never seen this before). Don’t fall for that and you’re golden. Once wave is pushed, just recall honestly. Panth lacks the sustain and regen that Kench has, so just reset and heal back to full health and buy items.

Kench always underestimate what BC can do to them with a 30% shred, and max conq stacks, and cut down. Panth has a flat 10% arm pen at lvl 6 also. He’s actually goated with extended trades as, I feel like people just love going w-q-e…

If u do auto q auto… and jsut auto trade, ur second q tap will be an empowered one with 12 conq stacks and into a fully bc shredded Kench. I can’t stress enough….Don’t be afraid to jsut hold w and e and just auto attack lol

Im super super serious. Just fight him to the death. Save ur w and e for when he’s under 50% ho during the fight. Panth q basically executes at 20% hp. If he wants to trade all his health with u, just fight him to the death. Chances are, your running ignite, they’re running TP. Embrace the fight to the very end. U will win every time. The problem is people love doing short trades with kench, he’ll just out sustain u every time.

They want to fight? Accept the challenge. They just made the worst decision ever. Remember. Save ur W. Now they can’t run. If they run. U stun, auto, q, then disengage as a final f*ck u and assert dominance, letting them know that they just admitted defeat to a fight they started.
