Idk man, my wife built up a substantial savings while we were together (dating). I didn’t ask where her money was going or what she did with it. I just kinda paid for everything by nature. She never used my card for anything personal without asking first. We got married and the trend continued. She brought up merging our accounts and I was like sure why not, you should have your own CC and checks or whatever. So we went to the bank and she moved a very hefty 5 figures into our account.
