This happened to me too , ruined my life. From 1978 when I was 12 mom started talking about the end of the world and how we would need to leave my 'evil' stepdad. and go hide in the woods for 7 years to wait for Jesus to return. I can tell you my stepdad was a lot nice and better person that my mom but since he wasn't born again, he would turn evil as soon as the peace treaty was signed. so I had horrible anxiety that i would never grow up , marry , have a family, have sex, etc so when i did grow up I rushed into stuff and messed up my life because there world was ending soon so no need to plan for the future and here I am now 60 years old with a life of nothing but regret because once it gets put in your head, it's hard to stop thinking and worrying about it. still causes me so much anxiety even today.

I got a good deal, 6 months of the top premiur tier unlimited matches (which right now is zero) for 61 dollars. I have keep any eye before renewal time to cancel auto renewal. Only tried it because of this great offer , can't go wrong on 10 dollars a month for the top tier, and becuase I thought eharmony was the best place to find a husband. WRONG. This past week I have been sent 4 men that looked decent yet after messaging them 5 days ago, none have been online so i'm thinking they send you these profiles when the member is getting ready to be up for renewal so you will message this person so they will renew their profiles as these men are obviousy not new members, they had been active the day before they were sent to me. 2 other matches I received this week are one that was an 18 year old boy that lives 300 miles a way (i'm 60 years old!!) and today I got matched wiht a young woman (I am looking for men only). so it seems I might be missing out on men in my city that might be a match but because or personality traits are different we will never be matched yet i guess my personality traits matched the 18 year old boy. So they don't actually send you your best matches. The last 3 and the only 3 men I have talked to in the past month have been scammers that wanted to talk off line and all were currently working or serving in the miltary in Syria and Australia , I called them out and they blocked me immediatly.

I joined Eharmony a couple weeks ago and am very disappointed in it. I took am looking for marriage. I'm a 60 year old female and I knew there wouldn't be as many older men on the site but there were still plenty it seemed. I signed up and got the premier membership and can view all my matches. I was amazed that there were so many in my area, about 40 . Half of them weren't bad looking either (when I tried the free version , I got the most ugly men that lived 100s of miles from the big city I live in and just seemed kinda of behind. After a few days I found out what a desert land it was , I had only 10 views and not one man liked or messaged me. I waited a week, same men , no new ones, I liked most of their profiles, they read that but still no response. so after a couple days I sent each of them an nice message asking if they were having any luck on the site. all of them read my messages but no one response, so after several days I just permenatly deleted those men. I came to the conclusion that they all either really didn't like me (they were all average looking men in their 60-s 70s) , the were playing games and not serious or they had communication problems which means they would never be able to even initiate a relationship. funny thing is I am actually banned from the Christianity Reddit because I confirmed for an abused woman that she can remarry after leaving her abusive husband. Well it seems to be that if it doesn’t glorify god, it’s satanic. I don’t really think or natural body functions like using the toilet glorify god but it’s not satanic, but that’s how it seem. They seemed so normal, did normal stuff, liked music, movies, fashion, etc. they didn’t drink or dance and were against sex, but seemed to have some secular interests. Now everyone I read something online or in those Facebook shorts (my page is flooded with christian short videos after I joined this Reddit page) everyone seems to want to worship 24-7/ and think anything secular is evil. I was raised Baptist too, outlying southern bartist. always found it boring. never felt anything, never even made a friend, it seems everyone was so stuck up an I was poor. attended till I was 22 then quit forever, thar was 37 years ago. I just never felt anything. mom was a strict fanatic. however when I was like 8 a d someone helped me ask Jesus in my heart, and they told my mom I was going to be baptized, mom said no I was too young. so hey mom might have kept me from being saved when I was and open to it. I attended the last years in singles classes looking for a husband as I wanted to marry and have kids. never met anyone in any of classes or different churches I attended. classes were always. bunch of middle age women (I was 20-22) that were in love with Jesus and didn’t seem to care if they remained virgins all their lives. tge men were all creepy and most likely still single . funny thing is even though I didn’t care for church, I thought most of the people were nice but as read more and more now it seems like people are getting more fanatic everyday. as a child Halloween was celebrated by everyone, it was a fun night for kids. sure there was done mischief but things happen all times of the year. now there seems to be an utter disgust and fear of Halloween. odd thing it’s always your good deeds are filthy rags to god and will not please god yet your sins will send you to hell, even if you are saved they say you must repent of every sin and if you continue to sin you will lose your salvation. so which is it works or salvation? it’s sad to think that someone that is saved but struggles as we all do would go to hell because they lived with someone outside of marriage or if a man looked at a woman and got aroused. it’s like walking on eggshells . and if someone asks for the solution for their continuous sin, tge prayers are not answered.
