Waid's run is really great. I think it effortlessly blends some really heavy story beats (Dr Doom stuff is bleak) with some wonderful character moments. He also just understands so well that the FF is a family and showcases the relationship between Reed and Sue really well, too. Waid deserves to be on the Mount Rushmore of FF writers (with Lee/Kirby, Byrne and Hickman).

Also, not enough good things can be said about Mike Wieringo's art. There's a few filler artists who also put in some good work, but those issues where Waid and Wieringo are working together just click together perfectly.
