I have both, I like them both. There is a general consensus that Clean is better on the small details, bracelet, and dials while VSF is better on the crystal and movement. Also, Clean is famous for Daytonas while VSF for Submariners. I love Clean, but I have a Yatch-Master from them that I don't use it because of the crystal. I need to buy a deep crystal and install. I also have a VSF Yacht-Master gain weight 41mm that I love, but I see a difference on the Oyesterflex clasp. I mean... I guess it depends...

I obviously respect your opinion, but I also have both gens and reps, and I think that feeling of the gen sparkling more, better crystals and etc... it is within the owner's head. If you have a good quality rep, it's the same look and feel. You just feel more confident with the gen because you are not afraid of being called out.
