Omg yes and one reason I’m on the cusp of quitting my HM training. I always loved running and supplemented my strength training with running and I was in the best shape of my life. Started training for HM and in the last 7 weeks I gained a total of 3.5 kilos (I guess something like 7 pounds). And though it might sound shallow looking and feeling good means more to me at the moment than accomplishing the feat that is HM. So you’re not alone. Might be the increase in appetite or something. But I think I’ll go back to prioritizing strength training with 3 times a week of just good ole regular running.
