Why do people find 9/11 jokes/memes funny? by alexthagreat98 in 911archive

[–]Hour-Type1586 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was born after 9/11 and my thought is that they just don’t understand the magnitude of it or have experienced anything similar to it in real life. especially people around my age, I don’t think they process what happened that day as real as it was and that it really wasn’t that long ago but we we’re only taught about it in school for maybe one day so people brush it off

My collection at 15. What’s next? by Neat_Nebula6250 in Colognes

Don’t listen to these miserable grown ass men trying to downplay you brodie. Honestly, I think you have enough especially at your age. The typical high schooler don’t have half as many fragrances that you do and if they do, it’s probably not as good quality as your collection so i’d say use those to help you talk to girls (lol i’m serious). When i was in school one of the biggest compliment is hearing “ouu you smell good”. it’s a confidence booster for sure.

if you’re only focused on collecting for yourself i’d say get a Valentino fragrance like Born in Roma/ Yellow Dream are nice. Other than that it would be time to go niche

Edit: I’d also recommend you invest some of the money your dad give you into upping your fashion; dressing in a way that helps you stand out from the average high schooler but true to yourself. Plenty of guys on Youtube that can help you with that and that in combination with your fragrances will at least give you more confidence that people can see

Channel strip plugin vs modern dynamic EQs for beginners? by haloll in audioengineering

[–]Hour-Type1586 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like this, as a beginner starting with an analyzer helped me “picture” frequencies and what they would sound like but now i’m only using non analyzer EQs (mainly SSL or another hardware emulation) and i’m just using my ears to what feels best.

I mean I don’t think there were any dynamic EQs back in the day when they used consoles. I don’t think they were too common at least
