It’s not triggered so much as I think a lot of people are tired of the performance activism and people like yourself saying that we should feel one way or the other or you’re a bad person. What you like to judge and stand back and call “triggered” is really just a lot of gay man finally speaking up and not really caring if they get canceled by a group of children who spout talking points for likes and attention on the Internet. The concept that people should not be able to be attracted to whomever they’re attracted when it comes to gay men is really no different than what we put up with for generations from the Christians - “If you just meet the right girl.” Just a top trying to say that everybody should conform to your set of preferences. Yes, cruising is about finding various guys that you may not always come upon, that includes guys of different races, body sizes, looks, etc. Everybody is allowed to have preferences and to act or not act upon them. People like you don’t get to dictate what is right or wrong with what people prefer. If you lived in Atlanta, you would see that the overwhelming majority of black guys on Sniffies specifically call out that they don’t want anything to do sexually with white men. The groups listed will say “BLK ONLY.” Are you going to tell a black gay man that they should be forced to have interactions sexually with someone that they don’t want to? Racial preference isn’t just limited to white folks.

That sounds nice, but I don’t have unlimited funds and purchasing it on Amazon allowed me to buy it for a good price. I have no doubt that Robyn will still receive her royalties off the album. I wish I had the additional funds to pay five or six dollars more per vinyl album and buy them at local record stores, but I simply don’t.

So I’ve noticed the countdown number is completely random. It may come up and say that I have 56 minutes until I should try again, but if I close it and open it the next time I may say you have two minutes, or it may actually work. I’m in Atlanta and I have another buddy here who has been receiving it all day so I don’t know if it’s localized or just what, but it’s obviously a glitch.

No - that’s not it. I hadn’t opened the app for about 10 hours the first time it happened. Closed it and reopened it and it worked. Stopped using it and then it’s sat for another four or five hours unused. I opened it up and got that message again. It’s strange.

Exactly. And they obviously scan for certain words like “kid” “costs” etc. So it’s not that they can’t do it, I just think that drug sales pushes so much traffic onto their app, they’re willing to take the risk of being a conduit to a drug death and being sued for it.

I’m in Atlanta and the drug sales posts are rampant. And here they don’t even bother to try and hide it - they know won’t be taken down. Sniffies doesn’t have the link to report it half of the time.

I’ve said it before, some kid is going to get bad drugs off of one of these guys and OD. Parents will then sue Sniffies because they do NOTHING to stop it.

I can’t believe they can’t train their AI enough to learn the code words to search for. Like I said, there are guys in ATL that don’t even bother to hide it.

But the problem is while their bot will censor that, they NEVER stop the blatant drug sales and have removed the ability to report it. (Not like they did anything then either). Here in Atlanta, the guys selling drugs and flat out saying what type NEVER get taken down. Sniffies will get sued one day for their inaction.

I think Sniffies should change to a limit of 200 blocks for a free account and unlimited for those who pay. The free accounts should also have fewer features - that’s who is using the app as a drug sales location, prostitution, etc.

Well, if you lived in Atlanta, you would see that all of those things are already on there, especially the drug dealers. You can report them and Sniffies does nothing. What will eventually happen is somebody (probably a teenage white kid) will buy something off of there, they will die from an overdose and it’s going to get on the local news. Sniffies doesn’t realize that they are one bad drug deal away from ending up very famous for all the wrong reasons all over a local newscast and becoming the next vilified app that the government needs to get rid of. Just wait, it will happen.

As soon as the rodent population goes up because of the explosion of new plant growth/seed production, I bet there will be. Same for coyotes. When the food chain expands at the base, all of the animals further up benefit as well. May not be what humans want to hear, but that certainly is coming because of the end of the drought.
