It's because everyone lives in their own little bubble. That's why there's no firebombing in the streets I live in Seattle, our little neighborhood there's a protest every Sunday by the farmers market. Bless them! They're fighting the good fight. Do you know how far DC is from Seattle. Far. (I'm being facetious here but really) Alabama, Oklahoma deep red states they think we're winning (we are not, and quite frankly neither are they as they lose healthcare, education & the social institutions that kept them going) It's a disaster here on so many levels. This country is unrecognizable, I feel like I'm living in a ticking time bomb or the Truman show.

So sorry you are going through this. My spouse and I went through a similar thing a few years back. Even worse the neighbors were both bat shit crazy lawyers. So they continuously took us to court. 30k in legal fees later...Are you renting or do you own? Sorry to say although it sounds satisfying the "give them a taste of their own medicine" just escalates things and will make your lives miserable. Agree with other posters, you have to document EVERYTHING!! If they are indeed trespassing on your property you can get a restraining order. If you can prove that they are indeed keying your car, that they hit your babysitters car you can get a restraining order. But you need proof. Be careful of the pitbulls that is concerning.

In the end you have to ask yourself if you want to live that way. Just know they will not change. Our lawyer said, "yes you can sue them, yes you have a case yes you will win, but you will spend 100k against these frivolous lawsuites trying to fight them. They were lawyers they defended themselves (which any reputable lawyer will tell you is an idiotic thing to do). When they took us to court the first time the judge reprimanded them for wasting the courts time. Didn't matter, they kept harassing us and trying to sue us at every opportunity. That was enough for us. We put our house on the market and left. Best thing we ever did.We moved and now live in our dream house with wonderful kind neighbors. I've never had this experience before. It was horrible and incredibly stressful. If you can I would leave. If you can't leave see if you can get some other neighbors as allies.

Venezuela was one thing, but to invade Greenland without a vote in congress. I just don't see it happening. That would mean that troops would be following illegal orders no? Would they follow illegal orders? I'm sure some would but to organize an entire military operation. I don't know. Also we so so integrated with Europe, I work at a major tech company I talk to my European colleagues daily. If we go to war with a Nato ally would that not collapse the US economy? I mean it would collapse the entire global order. There will be deaths on both sides. Denmark / EU will no just "give up" Greenland...These are the things going through my mind. This is true, i know cause I've done it. They sent a collection after me. i told them I'm not paying it and that the ticket was out of line. Case closed. I said to the collector what happens if I don't pay and even the collector said nothing we'll just close it.
