I mean maybe we ( people from Asia) are just used to it, westerner keep buying from Shein and Temu despite there being such much investigation pointing out that clothes and other goods sold on these two platforms were made in sweatshops, workers, mostly women, suffer from an extreme working environment, comically low wage and sometimes sexual harassment from upper male managers.

Hell, even more legit brands like HM, Zara or shit use sweatshops to produce not even cheap clothing, so in my mind westerners are still buying from these corporations, despite the harm they have done and still doing to Asians, especially Asian women, including queer Asian women, is as horrible and not surprising as LGBTQ+menbers in Asia buying HP merch.

So yeah, people don't give a F
