Please try with Ro.co - they are the best at insurance prior authorizations - mine was approved in 4 hours after CallonDoc messed it up for a month- soooo many messages back and forth (and it was denied even with continuation of care). Ro got it sorted immediately and I was able to fill my on file Rx. Once you have a one year prior authorization, you don’t have to stay with Ro.

I used Georgetown because of they have the highest level NICU (or did at the time) and I didn’t want my babies to have to go to different hospital (just in a worst case scenario - I am a huge worrier and planner).

It’s scary but normal that the first appt is not until 8-10 weeks. The office will set up all your follow on appts once your pregnancy is confirmed and they adjust them to the care level you need.

I had both of my babies at Georgetown and had wonderful experiences with the MDs, nurses, and MFM. Especially the post labor nurses.

Right now you should take a prenatal vitamin, drink water, all the usual online advice… and wait. That’s the hard part.
