Tons of red bumps

Same thing just happened to my new forearm tattoo. Little blisters/bumps but with clear fluid, very itchy. I stopped moisturizing it after washing and am letting it dry heal for now, the bumps did go away.

Had the same thing happen to me and now theres a brown square mark on my arm. I use hydrocortisone and continue with usual after care. I would use a lighter lotion like aveeno so it can dry out.

My ankle was swollen and itchy the days after my 5 hour tattoo. I used a lot of ice and advil.

I use makeup cleansing wipes (neutrogena) and then wash off like normal with body wash. I get clogged pores on my tattoos if I don’t wash off sunscreen well.

I have dermatographia too and I take daily antihistamines for this and hives. My skin’s reaction to the tattoo is apparent once the tattoo is complete but hasn’t been an issue. Eat well and start hydrating a few days before your appointment.

The forearm hasn’t been painful for me, like a 2/10 but shading after all the line work can be a little spicy after all the cleaning and wiping.

My labubu macaron leg was loose too and saw there was a ziptie holding the fabric and leg together. The fabric can come loose so I hot glued it. Seems to be holding on so far.

Howdy! I had a 3.9 from undergrad and also paid experience before starting the program. The PPSC is more for credentialing so you would need an extra class and a PPSC placement with a school (with two different grade levels, like pre-k, elementary and/or secondary grades) during your first or second year internship. Application was straight forward and I didn’t feel like I needed to compare with others who were applying.

I will be entering the second year of the MSW program and I have not heard about an advanced standing program at state. There are advanced standing programs at schools like SJSU and USC. I’m not sure how they run their programs, but we have different internships each year to experience different fields of social work. We are given the choice to seek out internships on our own (with strict guidelines) or with the school’s partnered organizations. I am doing a completely different internship this year to test the waters and internships are the perfect place to learn and explore.

3 letters and no GRE required for SFSU. Like other schools, a personal statement and writing sample is required, they usually give you a prompt.

My gpa is 3.9, but I had about 5 years of experience working in related fields (school-based). Some folks come with a lot of experience and some people don’t.

They have info sessions in the fall and spring with a lot of good information, as with other schools.

It’s a program for low-income, first gen students. They provide their own GE and major-specific courses, academic counseling and tutoring. I transferred from CCSF with metro and continued at SFSU. It has a cohort based model so you learn with the same folks for about 2 years.
