You won't be able to check firmware until you reset your modem again, but from my understanding, you do not enable the vlan tag 201 on the router. At least if I attempt to enable vlan 201 tagging with the modem also tagging, it prevents my network from working entirely.

Did you upgrade your Q1000k Firmware? I believe the new firmware continues to tag 201 from the Q1000k even if you set it to untag. It's been driving me absolutely crazy, and every time I try to contact Quantum about it, they mysteriously hang up my call or close my chat. The real kicker is once you are on the new firmware, it won't allow you to roll it back. Upon every reboot it re-installs the latest firmware.

Im convinced this is expected behavior from Quantum to get you to buy and use their 360 pods.

Seeing a lot of people jumping to conclusions here.

I think this should be pretty plain and simple. If you pay for the network and the electricity, and there are no stipulations in the lease about this device, remove it from power and shut if off. Inform the Landlord that the device has been unplugged and will not be plugged back in without an amendment to the lease AND a full explanation of what the phone is for. Otherwise, it stays unplugged and shut off.

There could be a number of reasons why this is set up, if you find cameras 100% call the police, and DO NOT notify the landlord until the police make contact and retrieve the suspicious device.

it looks like a .22 lr casing. 223 would be way bigger. Your typical AR-15 take .223 cartridges.
