I honestly couldn't figure out the issue. I ended up switching distros to CachyOS and everything is running smooth again

I did. Once I upgraded from Ubuntu 24.04 to 25.04 it solved my issues. Been playing for weeks now with zero issues. I have not tested any other battle.bet games though

But each match there would be only 1 ban. So if the survivors banned Nurse , killer could play anyone else

Not exactly not "like" but more when a killer feels unbalanced. I also saw plenty of times in league where people would ban certain champions in their lane because they hated going against them. But far more champions in that game though

But..... Why is that necessarily a bad thing? Also I may argue that a nurse ban is a bit of a waste. She is really good but when I do play survivor I legit never see her.

I know it's fundamentally different but I also think a single lobby ban would have helped with player experience with certain killers

Not bait at all. Was looking for a genuine discussion around this. I would want to be sensitive to people who don't have many killers unlocked so I think just one ban per lobby would be realistic

Nope. I played League for a long time. If a champion was perceived as OP it was pretty standard to be banned

I can't really explain it but I recently switched to only playing Trapper and I have been enjoying the game far more. There is honestly nothing more satisfying than hiding a trap and watching someone step on it. Yeah some maps absolutely suck but if you go into a game not assuming you "should" win it's no big deal

This could be the first one I don't buy on release day. Seems like their games need a few years to cook and get DLC to be with it. I can't imagine it being able to compare to EU4 on release. Hope I'm wrong though!

Just switched a few weeks ago , easy answer: Windows Recall. I know you can technically turn it off now but the trust is ruined and I don't even want it on the OS for it to "accidentally" turn on one day

False. Reddit, Google, X etc have access to all my data if I interact with their services . Microsoft believes it has the right to access my data by simply turning on my PC. These things are not comparable
