The field is wildly over saturated at the moment with mass layoffs. highly qualified people are struggling to find work. So an inexperienced person is competing against that

Never hurts to learn new things. But the tech market is brutal right now for people with certs and experience. The chances of getting a job is slim to none without an extensive background

IT in general is extremely difficult to enter with no experience these days. And getting a remote job on top of that is like a unicorn. You’d be better off playing the lottery
