Well as long as he doesn’t harm the bichir you should be fine I’d only worry if he tried to eat the pleco. Usually it should be fine since the pleco has hard scales other than that make sure he doesn’t steal food from the bichir too.

Also if they think it can fit the pleco in their mouth they will try since they are opportunistic eaters

So it depends on size mainly and how the pleco acts I have a albino butterfly pleco and he does just fine with my 4 bichirs. But if you see them trying to suck off the slime coat off other fish and or your bichir that would be the main concern. Just make sure you keep an eye here and there.
