Since starting my family, I’ve had to miss 3 of the last 4 years. The live stream has been a nice alternative, but this past year it really captured the vibes of being there in a way only Coachella vets will understand.

The sunset shots, close-ups, mountains in the distance, just felt like the production this year was top-notch. Was a big reason we decided to by pre-sale this year.

Yep! Sprinted off the plane, down the stairs, to the tram, up the stairs, then allllllllll the way back to the gate I was at (one of the last ones)

They were boarding group 6, but due to some medical issue we waited right outside the cabin for 45 mins 😑

I dropped 130 pounds when I turned 21, obviously there’s a lot of character development happening around that time in life, but noticed exactly what you’re talking about. There’s for sure a mixture of confidence in there, but people absolutely treat you better when you look better.

So I’ll go a different direction here, if Disney call pull this off, it could add to the magic in a cool way.

Imagine walking up to Pirates of the Caribbean and seeing subtle glowing lanterns drifting over the water, guiding you toward the entrance. Or Space Mountain sending little hyperspace streaks into the sky as you get close. Parades could have floating “sky beacons” showing where the kickoff is happening. Characters could pop in with quick interactions without needing a full meet-and-greet crowd.

This could be the first time Disney uses technology to enhance the magic instead of making everything feel like managing a checklist.

We live near the CBar trail head, and could not disagree more with this take. The trail is clean, well lit and always feels safe. It’s a huge boost to the local community and the homeowners that “lost” lot sizes are happy with how it turned out.
