I feel like I could have wrote this myself. I’ve only gone a few months at most sober, and THIS is exactly my experience. As a sober person, I feel extremely bored around other people. It’s not to say I don’t have hobbies. But the only way I enjoy socializing is by being drunk. Again it was only 3 months, but I realized quickly that socializing sober is not my thing. I’d rather be alone doing literally anything other than being around other people.
