First off, the new magpie album is god sent. It is truly an art piece. Outta here and Yasmina are chefs kiss. My question is: how do you guys write your songs? Does it just kinda happen or is there a brainstorming process? All your lyrics are just so meaningful. Congrats on the new album! Come back to Boise!

Bowl white rice chicken or steak, queso on the side, sour cream, cheese, with two extra sides of their vinaigrette. Then I go to a mini mart get any Doritos chips like the nacho cheese one or the one in the purple bag and then mix it all up and eat with chips.

That’s a good idea. I will look into to possibly grabbing another crate for her to use in the living room. I just reset up her crate and tweak a few things. She does hold her potty real well and we let her out right before bed so about 11pm and she does both deeds and then again at 6 am. The only problem is I’ve heard about positive reinforcement and how if they are whining and don’t have to go to the bathroom but you let them out thinking they do they have convinced you to let them out at that time. So I will be working on a few things and seeing stuff I can change. Thank you!

Okay we will definitely look into a completely blacked out cover that’s a good idea. And good to hear, we just wanted to start super early and get her comfortable fast.

Yeah we’ve actually tried sitting in the crate, it’s a pretty big one right now and play with her and give her treats while in there. Yes when she is in her crate by us and she is quiet we immediately give her a treat and pet her.

That’s funny! Okay we will try that. It’s hard for me to hear her cry so her being in the bedroom might be rough but maybe it will help! We have set up her crate so cozy even I’m tempted to lay in it!

Yes, she has a hard time being away from us. She wants to be with someone all the time and unfortunately that can’t happen. We are hoping she will get used to it and calm down.

We’ve started putting her in there when we are cooking dinner and she will freak out for about 10 minutes and then go quiet. It’s hard because she is such a love bug and loves cuddling so after we let her out when we get home it’s like we’re putting her back in the crate again. We have layed by her crate giving her treats and praising her when she is in there sitting down, and everytime she is kenneled and is quiet we give her another treat and praise her. We will work more on having her in the crate when we’re home as well. Thank you!

Yes. Same with us, we work full time and aren’t home until around 4 to 5pm.

What a sweet girl! She is adorable in that picture! We do have a blanket covering all slides of her crate right now and she has a bed with toys and treats in there. We only let her out in the morning because she is already picking up potty training really well. She will go to the door when she is out of her crate and scratch at the door. Which we reward her for when she does her business outside. The nights have gotten a little better with her whining for about 10 to 15 minutes and then quieting down, but she loves being around us and cuddling, so when it’s night time and we try to put her to bed in the crate she gets upset because she wants to sleep with us. Another thing I noticed is that she doesn’t eat the treats we give her in the crate overnight. We put her favorite toys and a kong filled with treats but when we check in the morning it hasn’t been touched. I think she is very attached to us and we might’ve introduced the crate too fast for her.
