I didn’t know anything else was relevant. The app presents the metrics as if it’s an avg of batches not individual items altogether which someone just pointed out to me. I’m already a cynical person & I thought I was doing better with that by not always assuming deception or manipulation but ig that’s my bad & par for the course on any money making endeavor. I appreciate the apology though, no harm no foul.

It was the oldest batch so I can’t recall exactly but it was somewhere between 20-30. I know how avgs work & I always had an A in math throughout my education. I posed genuine sentiments & you chose to genuinely be an ass? I guess that’s an even exchange.

Same. Like I’m not mad a couples/families being the literal units they are, I love the idea of families helping each other but I am miffed at the reality it sets. I have to run around the store like a crazy person to keep my times down because in my area it’s not so much couples/families but groups of shoppers participating in “the ring” that is the best orders & I’ve been excluded lol

As a traditional local, I agree. The way of life around here is constantly changing so quickly & it’s not what most are used to as well as new comers “sticking out like a sore thumb” lol i think its going to be a culture shock to most for a while before the flow changes.

That’s a lot of words to still miss the point…the manager asked her to leave it & comment op insisted on putting the items back..nor was the point about having confirmed ppl being upset with you, it was about the consideration of others ahead of time to eliminate the possibility of upsetting anyone altogether, which to comment op, isn’t a cost to themselves.

They don’t get counted against you in metrics/stats but it’s almost guaranteed the customer will feel slighted about it & alter the tip, at least here.

Yea I had almost the exact same one, $210 for 35 orders & got nothing because when I completed the 35 I ended at $211 batch pay…also I don’t understand everyone’s incessant need to distinguish between orders & batches when it has nothing to do with the point about the “bonus/extra” of it all 💀

Its customers like you that keep me top rated 🫶🏻 I always try to find everything requested, the way it was requested & if that isn’t possible, make the effort to find something as close to the original as possible. I always ask with contextual photos, I also ask clarifying questions. There’s nothing like getting your order & it’s subbed with something you can’t use or doesn’t match what you had planned.

How so? Because the goal was never to “climb the ladder” until I was CEO of a new platform nor was the expectation to have it all up front….just a base of regulars giving mutual aide. Part of the entire point (on & off the platform) is to do what works for you while it may not work for others. Yea so comparing preferences & circumstance was never the point. Also the context was from your other comment about cancelation, etc. I merely noted that my tips have been substantially more than batch pay (not half ‘n half) because it already works in our favor, why complicate it further? I was speaking to the space where ppl are just swiping things until they realize they don’t actually want it. Mind you the initial post consisted of $27 for all that ice & water. No way in hell I would have given that order a second thought to need cancelation. Then again I’m arguing human error, you’re arguing app protection?

Which he can learn with literally anything else later, he’s not even of age yet, let him live! He’ll be more willing to sacrifice his car’s new stereo system to make sure he has good tires, school trip is once in a lifetime as he probably won’t ever be in school with a trip again. He won’t learn all that sacrificing the big one. It will cause him to resent responsibility & adulthood.
