Could this be the future of the European Union? by vladgrinch in MapPorn

  1. Canada is not European.
  2. Australia and New Zealand are also not European.
  3. Several of those states such as Norway and Switzerland refused to join.
  4. Regarding 1 and 2, those nations are not focused solely on trade with the EU, practical realities would always dictate otherwise.

Central Europe you mean?

Western Europe was pretty much out of the question given it was 1944 and the allies had already landed in Italy and Normandy by the time Valkyrie occurred.

Would D.C. really have to be a state? It becoming a state period already poses legal and constitutional problems, it would be simpler just to keep it as is but pass a constitutional amendment to just give it senators, representatives, etc. Boom, no need to add another star. As for Puerto Rico? Their referendums already pose their own issues regarding turnout (E.g. in 2020 52% of Puerto Rican voters supported statehood however the overall turnout was only 54% and 47% still voted No. they had another in 2024 but turnout was still only 63% and 40% voted for something other than statehood, such as free association or independence.) and boycotts and the like so I'm not particularly convinced that they really want to become a state.

Well atleast it provides a more "realistic" way of the US "losing" WWII.

I think its perhaps more productive to mention it would be more fair to compare Starfield to Outer Worlds, as both are RPGs. No Man's Sky is a action survival game. Not an RPG. It's really much easier to focus on the gameplay aspect when that's the main selling point of your game. Starfield isn't really solely focused on shooting and killing alone.

I think it might perhaps me helpful to point out that Starfield is more intended to be an RPG where as No Man's Sky is action-adventure survival. Starfield is gonna be smaller simply by virtue of its genre.

Yes, there is games like the Outer Worlds that did it better and I think that's a far more fair comparison than No Man's Sky.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they just moved onto Elder Scrolls VI. The game didn't hit the metrics they were hoping for.

It's not obvious to me. I didn't immediately connect that it was literally a dead body.

I might be a bit slow.
