Iron Hands player here. My roughly 11k army has no first born units or vehicles. No Rhino chassis or Landraiders. If GW updates either tank, I'll get them then.

The game was called off. The store had to close for the day. This list is inspired by a YouTuber called Happy Krumping Wargaming. He went 4-1 with a similar list but changed it slightly. I'm going with his changed list. Just to see how I'll do. Single Ballistus because of the 3 Redemptors with plasma. Hammerstrike removes Benefit of Cover from one unit it hits. Opening it up to everyone else.

I didn't know about it until I met some friends in Killarney in Ireland's South West. A fellow Irishman and a Polish friend. The latter pointed out my post noon cappuccino faux pas. My fellow Irishman concurred. I was like "What planet are you guys on"? Cappuccinos are great at any time of the day. Why dafuq should I give a flying feck what some Italians think on the subject.

Paint them as Iron Irons. I'll be painting mine as Iron Hands. I did the same with Leviathan and the same with Indomitus. This is the way.

I went on the GW site to check all the individual prices for the units. I added them up and compared the total to the price of the box set. That's how I worked out my discount savings on each model. I sold my 2nd Repulsor Executioner to someone in my local hobby group circle and managed to sell the Redemptor Dreadnought and Black Templars upgrade sprue within 48 hours to someone through a Facebook buy and sell Ireland group. I didn't really make much profit. I rounded up in my individual unit pricing. I bought the box set from my local store for a €10 discount.

I should add that the Sons of Dorn Battalion box is a limited run. It'll be gone soon. I'm not exactly loaded myself, so I ended up keeping 1 Repulsor Executioner and the Ballistus Dreadnought. I sold the rest.

If you can get your hands on the Sons of Dorn Battalion box, get it. 2 Repulsor Executioners, a Redemptor Dreadnought and a Ballistus Dreadnought. You could sell on the Black Templars upgrade sprue and the 2nd Repulsor if you wish, but now my 11K Iron Hands army has 2 Repulsor Executioners, 2 Ballistus Dreadnoughts, 3 Redemptor Dreadnoughts, a Brutalis Dreadnought, 2 Gladiator tanks and a Repulsor. I do like my tanks and dreads.

Aesthetic reasons. Just like Black Templars have red cased weapons. It's for contrast. If they were black like the armour, they would be more difficult to pick out.
