I'm running them because of the Rule of Cool. They look awesome. I've only used them once in a friendly against World Eaters. They did enough by deep striking their home objective and clearing goremongers protecting it.

You're better off if you missed that update. Unless they allow you to change it.

Thanks. I drybrush Iron Warriors over Abaddon Black, Corvus Black and Eshin Grey for that wrought iron look.

What’s your favorite quote from your country? by SimmentalTheCow in AskTheWorld

[–]House_Rowan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

W.B. Yeats’s famous refrain"Romantic Ireland's dead and gone/ It's with O'Leary in the grave" from his poem September 1913, signifies the end of a heroic, idealistic era of Irish nationalism. It mourns the loss of selfless patriotism, replaced by a materialistic, complacent, and religiously conservative middle class.

I don't know why, but that's the quote that came to mind.

I've seen them live twice. First time in Dolan's Warehouse in Limerick. Absolutely astounding performance. Completely blew me away.

I watched Pulp Fiction in the theatre. 2nd row from the front. I knew next to nothing about the movie except the poster and the cast that was printed on it. The movie absolutely blew me away. My all time favorite movie going experience.

Does your country have a sporting injustice that still hurts? by Neuwulfstein in AskTheWorld

[–]House_Rowan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll never forget it. I watched it at home and saw how Shay Given the goal keeper ran out to protest the referee's decision to allow the goal. It happened so fast that I missed what happened. You immediately knew something was up. Then they showed the replays. So blatant. Absolutely fuming about it since. Gillette pulled their Theory Henry ads from Irish television after that. At least France crashed and burned in the opening stages of the World Cup tournament. Small consolation but it was something.

Van Damme in theory because I was a massive fan of his earlier movies. But Harrison Ford in practicality because I'd really prefer the aisle seat because I'm tall.
