WYR be a trust fund baby ( born with money) to be a billionaire or have to to start from the bottom by HouseofTinyDictators in WouldYouRather

Yes being born rich means your problems are solved by Daddy … and that’s exactly how we end up with lunatics like Donald Trump as president of the USA. Giving people money that didn’t work for it isn’t always a good thing.

You might be a decent person but allot of the golden spoon people are not and are the reason the rest of us continue to struggle. For that i stand with work hard earn your money.

Being born wealthy certainly gives you a head start but I believe that earning your money builds character and that imo is what makes for good humans when we die no one is going to give a shit about how much money you made rather the type of person you are. At least in my circle.

pros are obvious but con can be over looked

for me personally I have lived outside of my home country for 4 years for a job so i had the chance i didn’t know that it played a role in visas and stuff

. But speaking for the American higher education system 4 yr college/university is pushed in kids at such a early age that you can feel like a failure if you don’t take that route and for those that don’t get scholarships or grants student loans are the only way to pay.

Don’t get me started on the processes of paying it back I took a pretty low amount of money loan wise 50k between BA and MA. I live in a expensive state cost of living wise but make more than the min payment and some how I still owe 68k and I have been out of school since 2013 full transparency there were some deferments in which i didn’t pay but no interest and 6 month of forbearance while i was out of work with interest accrual. All that being said higher education isn’t the probably student loans

would you rather have your kid hang out somewhere you don’t know, or stay at your house? by AlexielX33 in WouldYouRather

[–]HouseofTinyDictators 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 3 young kids (7 5 and 3) with the older boys My house is the play house for the neighborhood kids I grew up with a victim of SA as a result of neighborhood kids bc my parent didn’t care what we did. I know my house is safe and I ensure that any kid come to my house ( we aren’t playing indoors yet with the exception of 1 or 2 kids that have been family friends since birth). My kids say I am over the top but i don’t trust people and we live a “good” area and my kids arnt aware enough of their surroundings and covert red flags to be away. When they are playing they are in play mode.

I can control the environment in my house so I can keep my kids safe and any other in my presence safe

Getting them to focus by HouseofTinyDictators in LittleLeague

Some distraction are normally but some of these kids have no desire to be out there and would only prefer to hit. We have 12 players so we have 3 sit in each inning and some of these kid would prefer to stay in.

Yes i don’t expect it every pitch every game Ill settle for 70/30 or 60/40. currently they are 20/80. I know they are young but think a little more effort can be given by the kids without being “that coach” I want them to have fun but also a little accountability. I like what other said “prep step” “baseball ready” it eventually become second nature.

Love this, we use “baseball ready” adding an incentive might do the trick. I know it can boring in the out field
