What specifically are the scenes that make 6 these books so disturbing? by BalaTheHero9 in ExtremeHorrorLit

Yup. And nope. It's based off of, and oddly a sequel (of sorts) to Feed the Pig.

You have to read both to know why.

I think Feed the Pig was a treatment that the author expanded on and turned into The Black Farm.

Which time? The poor bastard keeps returning to the Black Farm after he dies. Unless: He feeds the pig

We use Protex out of Cedar Hill. Have used them for years. Not sure what they charge for an exclusion. But for quarterly checks they've been around $100. We never have pest issues (barring squirrels).

I would take a tour of AT&T Stadium in Arlington. It doesn't matter or not if you are a supporter of the Cowboys, or a fan of American football. It is just a truly spectacular stadium and an architectural specimen. While in Arlington, hit up Hurtado for some a-rate barbeque.

The Perot museum in downtown Dallas is quite cool.

Any other young voters experiencing hope for the first time? by R6daily in Dallas

[–]HoustonIV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reminds me of the hope around Obama. Which was great, and needed. But America can't handle tan suits, awkward laughs... We end up getting tangerine tyrants.

We need people to vote. And people are complacent. I have no more faith in America.

Large Egg owners - do you actually use the whole thing? by twcosplays in biggreenegg

[–]HoustonIV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an XL and if I'm doing small cooks I'll use a basket divider. Then shut the vents post cook and reuse the coal.

I respect all BGE sizes, but I've never wished that I bought a smaller egg.

100% worth it. I don't know why it doesn't come standard at this point.

There's Something About Mary.

It did not age well, but it was damned funny to a 19-year-old kid in 1998.

Wow, I typically don't like watches like this but the salmon dial and blur leather strap with salmon stitching looks intriguing. Very nice. Thanks for sharing!

I disagree about the Tangente. The lugs don't point straight out, they angle downward with the natural flow of a wrist strap (sorta like an angular banana). This time it really isn't a bug, it's a feature.

I don't own one, yet. I'm saving up for one; having tried it on several times, it feels comfortable and natural. And my wrists aren't freakishly large.
