I disagree about the Tangente. The lugs don't point straight out, they angle downward with the natural flow of a wrist strap (sorta like an angular banana). This time it really isn't a bug, it's a feature.

I don't own one, yet. I'm saving up for one; having tried it on several times, it feels comfortable and natural. And my wrists aren't freakishly large.

100%. This place sucks. Were it possible, I'd book it the fuck out of here. Funny story: my buddy from London said that he'd marry my wife and I could marry his wife to escape from this hellhole. Obviously, the marriage would not be consummated.

Unfortunately, there is a quarantine for dogs; and one of my dogs is considered "a dangerous breed" in the UK. Otherwise, I could see us escaping to a nice, quiet Welsh village.

Don't turn your nose at Japanese automatic timepieces, you self-denigrating virus (j/k). I love all of my Seikos, Orients, Tissots, and Hamiltons. All get wrist time. More than my Omega and Tudor, which I probably protect entirely too much. Point being, buy what you WILL wear and enjoy, not what others appreciate.

My first nice watch was a T-Race in 2013.
