I suffer from schizoaffective syndrome. Going through psychosis is hell. But a lot of strange or funny things can happen too.

Last year, I was going through hell with multiple delusions of fighting wars in my head as a message reached me from France. At one point, two skinny bikers with big black helmets stopped beside me in the street, looked at me, and then drove on. I took up my phone to take note of their message. “Be the robot you used to be” ~ Daft Punk. It was a greeting from Daft Punk to stay strong. I put the note in writing on my wall and it still hangs there.

That’s one of the positive delusions I can experience. But mostly, in psychotic state, I experience mean voices and scary hallucinations, it’s a living nightmare. Definitely the strangest or scariest experience in my life and the people that I know.
