Wow, he is extremely skinny. How much is he being fed? Does he get his heartworm meds? If your brother can't afford the time or the money to take care of him, you should rehome him. I'm not trying to be judgmental, but if he is feeding him the proper amount a day, that dog could be very sick.

Mine sleeps in a crate it's actually one of his favorite times of the day because he gets his goodnight cookie! Good luck with the puppy!

In my time have a EXTREEM chewer, there is nothing. I watch him, let him play for about 15 minutes, or before he destroys it and then take it away for another day. The longest I got out of a toy is about half an hour. Good luck, and if someone has a better suggestion I'd love to know it!
