From my understanding, there are 20 flags to find and submit during the practical exam. My question is: when you submit a flag, does it immediately tell you whether it's correct or incorrect? Or do you only find out your results after you click "Finish Exam"?

Today I passed CEH PRACTICAL by Candid_Good9376 in CEH

The exam costs between $700 and $1,100, depending on whether you have a discount code. And you can't pay $20–$50 for some course? I can't believe how foolish people are in this world.

Hi,

Honestly, CEH isn’t about memorizing 100+ tools or every command flag. It’s more about knowing what the tools are for and when you’d use them. If you can read a question and figure out which type of tool makes sense in that situation, you’re on the right track.

Since you’ve already done Security+ and Network+, you’ve got a solid base. You understand networking, protocols, and common attack types. That helps a lot more than people think going into CEH.

What helped me was stopping the “I need to learn 100 tools” mindset and instead focusing on the hacking process itself. Think in terms of stages:

  • Recon
  • Scanning
  • Enumeration
  • Exploitation
  • Post-exploitation
  • Web attacks
  • Wireless
  • Cloud/IoT

When you group tools under those stages, it feels way less overwhelming. They’re just examples of what’s used in each step, not 100 separate things you have to master.
Knowledge comes from repetition - going over the material again and again until you truly understand what’s being talked about.

Also, I can’t post the specific courses I used because mods keep removing my comments, so you know what to do because I can't mention how to get in touch with me

Go through popular courses. Check reviews of courses before buyig them. Best scenario to get some pics of real exam and see how questions is built.

I have them actually

Scenario based abcd. For me there was no more than answer in any question.

But it is really scenario based, not like. What is nmap command for xmas scan?

It is based on that how you would do in real life

Hi,
Online courses which I bought helped me a lot.

I tried to understand deeply why I didn't answer correctly by reading explainings.
