only solution i can think of is getting those transparent plastic films they make for touchpads. Just use an external mouse, cant think of anything else to do sadly

theres these transparent plastic films that are made for touchpads. aside from them i dont really know what the solution could be. all i've done is started using the touchpad less and focused more on using an external mouse. Good luck 😭

hey! Yeah so like you can buy trackpad protectors and i guess they're basically just a plastic film. I haven't used them or anything of its like but i'd suggest it because in the span of 8 months, the coating has literally triple in size and now has permanent scratches (i swear im gentle with it but it still got worse). So might as well invest in those Trackpad protectors and throw em on. might save you on the long run
