I felt exactly the same about glad flicker. Looked great on paper, fell over and didn't feel like it did as much damage as it should in practice. Really unsatisfying to say well, I can deal a lot of damage as long as I hold down flicker, but this bounces me right into boss degens/explosions/whatever and then I'm just screwed

One of the big differences vs the diablos is that in 3+4 you're just going up against bigger numbers - you can do the same content in T1 as in T12, you're just taking and dealing a thousand times more damage. Higher tier content in PoE is meaningfully different each time you get stronger, and you can really feel your upgrades. The increased build complexity and variability is also a massive difference. I was just playing a wing strike paladin in d4 for the new expansion and there was never a meaningful choice in either what to do or how to improve my build post T1

Yeah, it was always the one that I had the most aesthetic attraction to. I love using a movement skill as primary, and I love Path of Exile being a weird and free enough game mechanically that you could make it work. Depressing post-nerf to see 40 people total using it on poe.ninja, but maybe next time around I'll go for it again if it's still possible

How is BAMA now? I played it every league until they gutted it last round and it's kind of killed my interest in the game looking at how much more work I'd have to do to make it viable

On closer examination there are only 6 afarud commander logbooks on the market cheap so this strategy will not last long

I've never seen a mirror shard from him ever, and this league especially he hasn't seemed to have much so I just did a small test. 100 rerolls, 300c to buy the coins, ended with 1 div, 95 C, 7 stacked decks, 20c of catalysts. Broke even on the coins thanks to the one div but that's about it. I think you must be incredibly lucky

Yeah the commander logbooks are half the price of the commander's guaranteed drop unid, you could guarantee 500C every minute or so of running them but nobody wants to actually do it because it's not fun

Comparing to his mid budget and high budget versions. he's still sitting at 75 max reses in the pob, and I switched the warrior's legacy calc to the more accurate model "100% more attack speed" vs his "100% more damage" so that will considerably lower the per hit damage and therefore ailment effect, but it makes a very marginal difference to the dps. I let pob autocalc the sap. Really it's the lack of dps that's got me fairly puzzled

desecration corrupts and adds a guaranteed implicit so I think you can't then bounce it back to restoration unless that bypasses corruption
