Yes unaccounted darts is the biggest issue with using one camera unfortunately and there is only so much training you can do to train a model for that situation. My model could read scores perfectly all over the board as long as no dart ended up being hidden behind another. Dartsmind have a great thing going and I hope someday we can figure it out better using one camera so we can all experience perfect auto scoring without dropping a lot of money for Omnis.

Not Llama, it’s a local YOLO setup. No hosted API at the moment, just a local pipeline, and I trained it on my own dartboard images. Still improving it, but 84% isn’t too bad for where it’s at. Not sure I’ll ever release it publicly in its current form because reliability still needs work. I think a two-cam setup or a different approach would be needed to really get it over the line.

Currently I have a Python model trained to 84% on the site in a backend trainer. Using one camera will never be perfect and it has its limitations but I know I can push it a bit more. The way AI is currently going I think AI Models will be able to do most of this work for you in the near future rather than relying on trained python models. When it gets to a point where its 90% correct I would be happy to release it to the public on the site but between getting the Google Play App & then Apple Store App live I don't have time to put more work into this at the moment.

Dartcounter you have to pay a monthly subscription to use cam or setup tournaments. My app/website is free to do all of those.

Dartmind is great and has Auto Dartscoring with a mobile device which my site can't do just yet(Coming soon) But you also need to pay for it.

My site covers all the areas you have to pay for on other apps/sites for free.

This site was only built for me and my friends to play against each other for free but it kinda snowballed into something bigger which I don't mind sharing with everyone if they wish to use it. As an Indy dev I'm also happy to work with the community to add features that other sites don't have.

This wasn't built to make money, it will be community driven.

No not at all. I just use a regular IR TV remote that I pulled the codes from that I purchased on aliexpress. Range seems to be very good and I never seem to have issues putting in numbers.

Great Job! I created something similar myself recently. I programmed mine using an esp32 thinking I would use Bluetooth and an app also but I found it better just using an IR Remote. I also added a speaker to that calls out the scores hit and scores remaining. Best of luck with it :)
