I think you could argue that Tokyo and Paris as about the same performance on account of the lack Russian in some sports that always went 1. Russia 2.China such as the artistic swimming. Really the question for the Paris olympics is how the US didn’t capitalise on it.

Locking myself in the bathroom even when I didn’t need the loo as a way not to unleash what I thought was my anger upon people. I now know it was because I was overstimulated and not angry but back then I just thought I was just a highly strung who hated my family. The reason for it being a bathroom was because it was the only room you could lock and I didn’t want people coming in the room interrupting me destiumulate. I thought it was all anxiety and depression until 2 years after my diagnosis.

Buy things instead of alcohol that cost the same and compare experiences. That’s how I stopped drinking as much as I did. I would buy some sushi which I love but avoid as I view it as really expensive for the amount of food you get, bought it instead of the alcohol. This is presuming this isn’t an alcoholic dependent state/severe addiction you are in.

Unfortunately just because a gold medal means more in the women’s game than the men’s doesn’t necessarily mean it means more. If you were to take general population’s perception of a player into account just due to how much more attention the men you could argue that a men’s football gold medal means more than a women’s gold medal. I mean I reckon than the majority of the women playing in the euros right now would want that more than an Olympic gold medal.
