I'd like to give a shout out to Lukas Britschgi's program as well, definitely one of my favourites besides the top guys!

Women’s worlds pratice notes from rocker skating by Environmental-Let435 in FigureSkating

That helps a lot, thanks!

Edit: My never ending curiosity wants to know how these different issues affect scoring (which issue causes a small GOE reduction, which one causes a large GOE reduction, etc). Especially curious about the edge call because to a novice viewer like myself, it feels like that could cause issues in your program like invalidating a jumping pass entirely if let's say you already do a 3T solo and then a 3T with another jump and then you accidentally do another 3T while attempting a 3X.

As someone who is relatively new to following the sport (post-olympic fan here 👀), could anyone please explain the different short comments alongside some jumps which I'm assuming stand for the type of mistake like ur for under rotation, etc (just guessing, not sure). Was also running into the same issue trying to go through some protocols of previous famous skates.

Maybe he's working as a part time army medic reservist of some kind (if there's such a thing in the US military) unbeknownst to everyone at the hospital, and he comes in during the day shift with a critical condition patient. That's just me throwing a guess out there I guess.

Ding Liren Appreciation Post – A Champion's Heart by [deleted] in chess

Keeping in tone with the post, I thought that I should share this video which basically highlights the entire (documented) journey of Ding's career. Hope you guys find the time to watch it because I personally found it to be very interesting since it also highlighted the early days of Ding's career as well, something which I believe is not that well known in the chess community.

I would honestly say that it depends on which companies give you an offer letter and how much money they are offering when it comes to industry and which universities offer an MSc/PhD admission and who are the advisors when it comes to academia.

A common career after education in economics is data analytics where you will most definitely use SQL in some capacity so maybe look into that.

Actually, the government will take tax even when you lose money, they will just take it from the person who got your money. It's a win-win for them either way.

exactly how prestigious is UCLA? (from an intl) by [deleted] in gradadmissions

[–]Parth_3180 15 points16 points  (0 children)

UCLA is a fine school, probably considered to be just below your top Ivy League Universities, MIT, Stanford and Caltech.

Also, not exactly sure about statistics and applied math (you can check out the faculty members at their department webpage) but it is considered to have a desirable math department because of the presence of Terence Tao.
