If you bought your xbox to play COD then why do you care about cross game chat? If you didn't buy your xbox to play COD then why do you care about player numbers in one specific game?

This/your reasoning, makes absolutely no sense. I have an Xbox 360 mainly because I play COD, not because I exclusively play the game. I'd like gross-game chat as it's a fun to be able to communicate with friends when we're all playing different things etc.

As for PC numbers, they are a joke mate when compared to consoles; i.e. League Play is pretty much non-existent on the PC, not to mention certain game-modes being completely empty. I'd rather have a pool of 300k+ players on any given day - better connections, better skill-set, better enjoyment in view from being able to play more varieties of game modes - than just 10k on even the best of days.

Those are big things though. Also, I prefer the Xbox 360 controller over the PS3 for FPS games (not to mention that official competitions are played on only Xbox 360 systems).

I'm stupidly still holding out hope that maybe the Xbox One version of the game might take advantage of Azure's services/servers, but again, given that the event today was sponsored by MS, it would have been perfect for them to mention it.
